TUSCAN WAY OFFERS NEW AGENT PROGRAM WITH FULL COMMISSIONS PAID

UPON BOOKING, FREE AIR FOR GROUP LEADER AND GROUP LEADER DISCOUNTS

Coconut Grove, FL, January 2008 -- Tuscan Way has announced a new travel agent program that pays 5% to 15% commissions, paid in full when the bookings are made with a full payment for tours at any of their eight locations throughout Tuscany -- – from a picturesque medieval five-story home in the small village of Arcidosso to a luxurious Italian villa nestled amongst organic olive groves, Sangiovese vineyards and medieval forests.  Agents would simply deduct the commission from the package tariff rate paid to Tuscan Way when booking the trip.  The company is also offering free R/T air (up to $1,000) for groups of 10 or more and up to 100% off the accompanying group leader’s stay depending on group size.  Normal rates for the three- to six-night stays are $1,450 to $4,315 per person, double.

Commission rates are 5% for 1-5 clients; 7.5% for 6-10; 10% for 11-20; 12.5% for 21-30 and 15% for 31 and up.  The accompanying agent/group leader’s trip is discounted at 25% for groups of 10-16, 50% for 18-26, 75% for 28-34 and 100% for 36 and above.  All packages include accommodations, meals, wine, transfers and local transportation for scheduled excursions.  There are up to five hands-on cooking courses during the seven-day package, wine-tasting sessions and escorted visits through the local markets, restaurants and vineyards.

Tuscan Way sets itself apart from other “cooking schools” by incorporating the cooking as part of a larger Tuscany experience and maintaining informal, relaxed class settings in its family-style kitchens, a glass of local wine always within arm's reach.  Learning to cook "La Cucina Povera Toscana," the simple, creative and flavorful peasant’s cuisine is combined with a variety of guided excursions to medieval villages, seaside towns, private vineyards and wine cellars with wine tastings, local markets and spa visits.

Settings include the 1,000-year-old Casa Innocenti and the quaint La Locanda del Prete in Arcidosso; Villa Gaia, in the rolling hills of Monte Amiata; Villa Poggiarello in the elegant Maremma countryside; Villa Castelletti, an estate in Northern Tuscany; Bagni Vignoni in the Val d’Orcia; Cortona-Rose Winds, a beautifully restored 18th-century farm estate in Cortona; and Villa Torremozza, a perfect country hideaway just outside Florence.  Two wine tours are also offered – in Villa Gaia and La Locanda del Prete, as well as combinations of cooking and spa visits.

Additional information, brochures and reservations can be obtained from Tuscan Way, 2829 Bird Avenue, PMB 242, Coconut Grove, FL 33133; (800) 766-2390 or (305) 598-8368; www.tuscanway.com.
